Instruction to Act for Your UK Company

Letter of engagement for UK accounting, tax and administrative services in relation to your existing UK company

I hereby instruct you to provide my existing UK company with ongoing UK accounting, tax and administrative services, on the basis of the description of services as found on your website

This agreement is subject to the general terms and conditions of St Matthew Chartered Certified Accountants, which you agree to with this order.

    Please provide information about the UK company you seek our tax consultancy services for

  • Existing UK tax numbers (optional)

    If the company is already registered in the UK for tax purposes, please enter the relevant tax numbers here. Don't worry, if you do not have these at hand, they can be provided later. Please do not enter foreign tax numbers.

  • Information about your previous or current tax consultant / accountant / advisor in the UK (optional)

  • Scope of tax-related services

  • Generally, we can look after any and all tax-related and administrative issues of the company in the UK. These include among other things:

    • Ongoing accounting, such as with Xero
    • Deadline management
    • Payroll accounting
    • Handling VAT returns
    • Drawing up annual reports
    • Drawing up corporate income tax returns or partnership tax returns
    • Filing of accounts with Companies House
    • Communication with authorities
    • Tax advice

    However, we do know that the needs of our clients differ. Some clients ask for a full service, others merely task us with a specific request (such as the drawing up of annual reports) while the rest is done elsewhere.

    That's why we will discuss your specific needs and wishes before we start working for you. This will allow us to tailor our services to your exact requirements, which ensures that we render only those services to your company that you actually need.

  • Fees & Hourly Charging

  • Services rendered to the company are charged according to the actual time spent by us for doing the work. The basis of this calculation are our standard fees. On this page, you will find a description of the costs, you need to expect when we provide your company with our services.

  • Your EU-VAT-ID-Number for Reverse Charging (optional)

    If you have a VAT-ID-Number in the European Union (excl. UK), we can send you VAT-exempt invoices (Reverse Charging). Otherwise, VAT becomes due. For this purpose, please enter your VAT-ID-Number in the format DE123456789 in the field below. VAT-exempt invoices can also be issued if your billing address is outside of the EU.

    Upon request, we would be happy to send you a discreet invoice. The invoice will still be issued by us, but the subject matter of the invoice will be neutralised, for instance as "tax-related consultancy and services as agreed".

    To enable us to provide you with our services, you must agree to our terms and conditions and privacy policy.

  • What happens next

    After submitting the form, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This will contain information about the documents you need to provide to proceed, such as copies of your proof of identity and address. These do not need to be notarised and can be submitted as scans. If you have ordered additional services, please pay for the corresponding fees. You can pay via PayPal, credit card or bank transfer. Upon receipt of these documents and, where applicable, your payment, we will immediately start processing your order.
